MCLEAN, Va. – Red Cell Partners announced today that the 74th Governor of Virginia and former Co-CEO of The Carlyle Group, Glenn Youngkin, has joined as partner, chairman, and board member. Founded in 2020, Red Cell launches, scales, and operates national security, cyber, and healthcare technology companies.

Red Cell was founded by Verstandig after he sold his first company, Rally Health—a consumer-centric health company—to UnitedHealth Group in 2017 for $4 billion, which represented one of the largest digital health exits at the time. A Washington, D.C. native, Verstandig is a serial entrepreneur who, in addition to founding Rally, co-founded multiple businesses, including Epirus, Trase, and several other Red Cell portfolio companies.
